SOUND GOOD, DO GOOD
We are currently booked through 2026.
At The Listening Room, giving back has always been part of who we are. Back in 2010, our founder Chris Blair was juggling every role—from dishwasher to bartender—just to keep the doors open. When friends in the songwriter community stepped in to host a benefit show, tragedy struck as the Nashville flood hit. Despite his own struggles, Chris donated all the proceeds to Hands On Nashville to support flood relief.
That spirit of generosity still drives us today. Each month, we partner with local non-profits, offering our stage so they can share their mission and raise support. It’s our way of honoring where we’ve been and making sure our success gives back to the community we love.
At The Listening Room, giving back is part of who we are. Nearly 20 years ago, friends in the songwriting community hosted a benefit show to help The Listening Room in a time of need. When tragedy struck our beloved city with a once-in-a-lifetime flood our founder, Chris Blair, decided to take the money that was raised and donate it to help our community. That spirit of generosity still guides us today.
Each month we partner with a local nonprofit, offering our stage so they can share their mission and raise support. During Sound Good, Do Good shows, 100% of ticket proceeds go directly to the featured organization — our way of honoring our roots and ensuring our success benefits the community we love.
All we ask from our nonprofit partner is the booking of exceptional songwriter talent, a commitment to promoting the show and a clear explanation of how donated funds will be used so that our guests are aware of how their money is impacting the community.
