SJ McDonald

SJ McDonald has been playing The Listening Room and Song Suffragettes for a while now, but what I love about her music is that it’s raw and real. She’s originally from Virginia, where she grew up on a cattle farm and started writing music around 9 years old. After she came to Nashville, she honed her writing skills and has really blossomed as a writer, performer, and artist. Her latest single “Who Hurt You” takes me back to that sound of 90’s and 2000’s country music, which makes sense because that’s the music she grew up on and fell in love with. That song, along with other releases like “Rosemary” and “Hot Damn” are so great. It’s just a matter of time for SJ and I’m pumped to be able to highlight her this month! The Main Room at The Listening Room delivers Nashville’s best live music and songwriter rounds in an intimate, premium-sound setting. With cutting-edge audio, great food and drinks, and space for 255 seated or 450 standing guests.

FRONT BAR

Our semi-private Front Bar is a relaxed and intimate area located just off the main room. With warm lighting and full bar service, it comfortably accommodates up to 100 guests for a cocktail-style gathering.

BALCONY

The VIP Balcony offers an elevated view of the main stage and seats up to 45 guests. Featuring comfortable seating and an optional dedicated bar, it provides a more private vantage point while still being part of the full Listening Room experience.
