Welcome to The Listening Room

In 2008, Chris Blair had a dream of opening up a music venue. With the passion for music & business, Chris & Mark Craven decided to open up The Listening Room Cafe in Nashville and began the journey. They wanted a place where writers aand guests alike could feel at home, a place with incredible sound quality and a menu with good home cookin' "like Momma used to make it!" They opened the doors on September 11, 2008 and since then have had some of the biggest hit songwriters and artists in Nashville perform. Just eight months later, on June 11, 2009, Chris took over sole ownership and the rest will be history. Since June, Chris has brought in a fantastic Chef with years of experience in the kitchen as well as catering. Chef Betsy Pharr has re-invented the menu and has helped Chris start his catering business. The Listening Room Cafe is located in the historic Cummins Station building in downtown Nashville and is already getting the reputation around town as the best sounding room in Nashville and a "must see" spot for tourist. They invite you in to listen to one of the nightly shows, to eat some of the wonderful food creations they have and to enjoy the atmosphere Chris and the staff have worked so hard to create... and they hope you'll love it for years to come!

Reservations

Reservations are encouraged for all shows. Each show has an $8 food/drink minimum per person. Please contact us with the date of show requested, number in your party and whether you would prefer the bar area, front of stage area or back of room area. We will do our best to sit you in a preferred location, however we cannot guarantee your request depending on the amount of reservations we have.
