Voting Has Started for Nashville Scene's Best Of...
Last year, we were tied for second as Best Writer's Night and third for Best Open Mic in Nashville Scene's Best Of... The voting has started, and we need your help! We really have grown in the last year and have built up a great reputation as the best sounding room in Nashville, but we still need lots of growth!
Winning the Best Of Nashville will be a great thing for us! You can vote ONCE A DAY so we're asking you to please vote EVERY DAY.

The First Annual Writer's Block, a special event held on May 16th at The Listening Room has received praise in the most recent edition of The Nashville Scene.
The all-day singer/songwriter event was held to benefit Hands on Nashville and it's ongoing relief work for victims of the recent flooding in Nashville. After raising more than $1500 for the organization, the event has recently received press highlighting the efforts.

Welcome to The Listening Room
In 2008, Chris Blair had a dream of opening up a music venue. With the passion for music & business, Chris & Mark Craven decided to open up The Listening Room Cafe in Nashville and began the journey. They wanted a place where writers aand guests alike could feel at home, a place with incredible sound quality and a menu with good home cookin' "like Momma used to make it!" They opened the doors on September 11, 2008 and since then have had some of the biggest hit songwriters and artists in Nashville perform. Just eight months later, on June 11, 2009, Chris took over sole ownership and the rest will be history. Since June, Chris has brought in a fantastic Chef with years of experience in the kitchen as well as catering. Together, they have re-invented the menu and begun a successful catering business. The Listening Room Cafe is located in the historic Cummins Station building in downtown Nashville and is already getting the reputation around town as the best sounding room in Nashville and a "must see" spot for tourist. They invite you in to listen to one of the nightly shows, to eat some of the wonderful food creations they have and to enjoy the atmosphere Chris and the staff have worked so hard to create... and they hope you'll love it for years to come!
Reservations
Reservations are encouraged for all shows. Each show has an $5 food/drink minimum per person. Please make a reservation to ensure you have a great seat. We accept online reservations only. After all reserved seats are filled, we still have bar seats and standing room only for all shows, until our capacity is reached.
